How It All Started
The story of CO WORK began with Daniel Simard, who grew up working in his parents' pizza restaurants. For over 15 years, Daniel honed his skills and developed a deep understanding of the restaurant business. After college, he pursued other ventures but never let go of his dream to own a restaurant. In 2020, amidst the challenges of the pandemic, Daniel witnessed the heartbreaking closure of many beloved neighborhood eateries. This crisis prompted him to reconnect with his long-time friend Matthieu Wallace, who shared his passion for the restaurant industry. Together, they developed a business plan focused on supporting chefs and restaurateurs through a ghost kitchen model designed to reduce overhead costs and maximize operational efficiency. Today, CO WORK has become a trusted partner for food entrepreneurs in Montréal-Nord, offering cutting-edge kitchen spaces and tailored support to help businesses launch, grow, and thrive.
